It was rainy and windy during day.
The rainy season will come Shikoku district soon.
Because there were the mark of umbrella in weekly weather forecast.
Until now I could hear the bird's singing.
In addiction I will hear the flog's singing after this.
My dog was taking a nap with singing.

今日は、雨とひどい風でした。
もうすぐ、梅雨入りでしょうか。
週間天気予報では、傘マークが並んでいました。
鳥の鳴き声も盛んに聞こえますが、
それに加えて、カエルの声も段々と聞こえるようになりそうです。
まるちゃんは、それを聞きながらお昼寝しています(*^_^*)

2011/05/22

Recently I pulled weeds in my garden every Sunday.
The garden was cleaned.
When I looked up my garden, I saw the trees covered with new green leaves.
And I found blossoms of kiwi fruits, persimmons, and yuzu.
There will be a good harvest this year.
We are very happy.

ここ最近の休みの日は、草引きを重点的にしていました。
ずっと地面ばかり見ていましたが、なんとかきれいになったので、庭を見まわして見ると
新芽がたくさん出ていました。
中にキウイと柿と柚子の花が咲いていました。
去年より、たくさん咲いているので、今年はたくさん収穫できる事を楽しみにしています。

My husband took our dog for a walk with me for long time.

Always he or I take her..

When I took her for a walk, I couldn't see around.

But I could take many picture. I was happy.

I was especially happy that I found a few wild ｓｔrawberry.
I ate a few wild strawberry. It was tart and sweet.
When I was child, we took a lot of wild strawberry,
Then my mother made the wild strawberry jam.
I looked back on it with nostalgia.

久しぶりに主人と一緒にまるちゃんの散歩に行きました。
いつもなら、どちらかが行くのですが、
今日は主人が連れていたので私も散歩を楽しめました。
意外と、いろんな花が咲き、実もなっていることに気がつきました。
中でも、野苺はほんの少ししかなっていませんでしたが、
採って食べると酸っぱくて甘い懐かしい味がしました。
私が、幼い頃、実母とみんなで野苺をたくさん採って、
一つずつ割って虫がいないか確かめてから、ジャムを作った事がありました。
とっても、懐かしく思いだされました。

いつもなら、写真を撮ろうとしてもこちらを向かないまるちゃんですが、
後ろから、こっそり撮ろうとすると振り返りました。
何か察したのでしょうか＾＾

This week, I did English homework.
When I heard the story, I could write, but I could understand it.
Richard said to me, "Don't worry Emi." then he wrote white board

"I hear and I forget.
I see and I remember.[
I do and I understand."

It was Chinese proverb.
It means that "That actions are more important than hearing the words." perhaps.
Then I read again and again, and talked to him until I could know.
At last I could understand.
Thank you for teaching me !

A police man saw a car driving very very slowly,
and decided to stop it.
There were four old ladies inside and the officer set
A police man said,  "i'm sorry madam. Your driving is as dangerous as driving too fast. "
The driver was embarrassed and apologized.
The driver said "I was driving exactly twenty two miles far hour."
"I'm sorry madam. That's the name of route. It's route 24"
The police man looked at the other three old ladies who were very white, very quite, and seemed to be shaking.
He asked "Are your friends OK?"
"Oh every OK soon. We just came from route 196."

"What is that?"　/　あれは、何だろう？

今週も、英会話の宿題をしました。
いつものように、テープを聞いてノートに書いていきました。
でも、文章はかけてひとつひとつの文章の意味もわかるのに全体の意味が分かりませんでした。
リチャードに、その事を言うと、「心配はいらないよ。」といって、

"I hear and I forget.
I see and I remember.[
I do and I understand."

と、ホワイトボードに書いてくれました。
中国のことわざで、たぶん　言葉や話を聞くだけでは右から左で忘れてしまうけど
実際に行動に移せば、理解もでき簡単に忘れることはないという事でしょうか。
私は、自分の書いた英文を何度も読み返し　リチャードに話してみました。
どうしてここでこの文章が来るのかと、何カ所も質問する事で、やっと話の内容が分かりました。
根気よく、聞いて質問に答えてくれたリチャードに感謝・感謝です＾＾v

ちなみに、その文章は、

警官が、とっても遅く走っている車を見つけ、その車を止めました。
車の中には、4人の老婦人が乗っていました。
警官は、運転手に「すみません。あなたのゆっくりとした運転は、スピードを出し過ぎの運転と同じくらい危ないのです。」
運転手は、言いました。
「私は、規則どおり時速24マイルで走っていました。」
警官は、「すみません。２４は、道の名前で、それはルート24です。」と、言いました。
運転手は、恥ずかしいと共に謝りました。
警官は、その他の3人の婦人が顔面蒼白で、物も言わず、震えているように思えました。
警官は、尋ねました。「あの方たちは、あなたのお友達で間違いないですか？」
運転手の婦人は、「そうですよ。直ぐに平静を取り戻します。だって、私たちは、ちょうどルート196を走ってきたところです。」

My mother planed tomatoes in pots.
They were put under the eaves. because tomatoes are sensitive to rain.
Two pots from left are  red grape tomatoes.
Two pots next them are red tomatoes.
One pots from right is a yellow grape tomato.
When I open the window, I can smell of tomatoes.

Tomatoes will bear fruit in early summer
I love tomatoes. I'm happy.

私が、軒下で育てようと赤いミニトマトを買ってきたら、実母も赤の大玉トマトと、黄色のミニトマトを買ってきて私の家の軒下にきれいに並べて植えてくれました。
トマトは、雨に弱いので去年からこの軒下で育てています。
夏の初めごろには、実がなるでしょうか。
トマトが大好きな私にとっては、とても楽しみです(*^。^*)

2011/05/18

Today I started to study English conversation in Tobe town.

When I entered the classroom with a pounding heat, teacher of younger woman was talking students who came earlier than me. Her name is Kerry. She married and have a child. She is cute and kindly.

Fast lesson, we introduced oneself. When everyone introduced, everyone have to say together  adjective used a first letter of name. It was difficult. I said "I am elegant Emi." It was a lie !

今日から、砥部町の英会話教室に参加することになりました。

ドキドキしながら、教室に入ると若い女性の先生が、先に来ていた生徒さんとお話していました。

先生の名前はケリーで、お子さんがいるそうですが、とっても可愛らしい方でした。

初めての授業は、自己紹介を兼ねて自分の名前の前に形容詞を付けてしました。

順番に、自己紹介をしていくのですが、初めの方の名前から言ってから自分の自己紹介です。

私は5番目だったので簡単でしたが、最後の方は16人分言ってからの自己紹介だったので大変そうでした。また、その形容詞も、名前の頭文字から始まる単語で少し難しかったようです。

私は、emiですのでEから始まる形容詞です。

ウソになりますが、「I am elegant Emi.」＾＾；と、言ってみました。

2011/05/17

Last month I took cherry blossoms.
I made cherry blossoms pickled in salt.
When I have a cup of Japanese tea, I put into cherry blossoms in the tea cup.
I enjoy smells of cherry blossoms.

八重桜が７分咲きのころが、一番香りのいいと聞いていましたが、
先月のはじめに、満開で散り始めた頃、少しだけ花をとらせてもらいました。
家に持って帰ってる間に花びらが散ってしまったのもありました。
それも、全部塩漬けにして、しばらくおいてから水分を取り除きました。
それから、米酢に漬けてしばらく置きます。
その後、お酢と桜の花を分けて、花に塩をまぶして保存します。
桜の花の色がついたお酢は、寿司酢に混ぜて使おうかと思います。
桜の塩漬けは、緑茶に入れて楽しみたいと思います。
