Around here, the harvest of the rice seemed to have ended more than half.

The rice plant which was harvested was dried on the rice field where the harvest has been ended by the traditional method.

Much time is needed for it. But it is sad that rice become delicious.

I thought that I want to eat rice of this year.

この辺りでは、もう稲刈りも半分以上終わっているようです。

その稲刈りが終わった田んぼに、刈り取った稲木を昔ながらの方法で乾かしていました。

時間がかかりますが、お米が美味しくなるそうです。

今では、珍しい光景です。

私も、早く新米が食べたくなりました。

When my husband and I walked a mountain path with my dog, I felt the sign of autumn.

I thought that I would like to eat warm food.

犬との散歩道も秋の気配が漂っています。

これからは、温かい食べ物がいい季節ですね。

Today is my son’s birthday!

Happy birthday to dear son!!

今日は、息子の誕生日！

おめでとう！！

I ate an ice cream of B-R 31 ICE CREAM with colleagues.

In the store, it was among the campaign of Halloween.

We could draw a lot.

The others drew a blank.

But I won a pen in a lottery.

I thought that I was fortunate.

Moreover, I was glad.

Recently, I was tired very much for work.

But I thought that a little motivation came out.

今日、同僚とおやつにサーティーワンのアイスクリームを食べました。

ハロウィンのキャンペーン中で、くじが引けました。

他の二人はハズレでしたが、私だけアタリがでてペンをもらいました。

なんだか運がいいなって、うれしくなしました。

最近、仕事で疲れていましたが、少しやる気が出たかな（*^_^*）

2011/10/02

Now, I can’t buy vegetables because of the rise of the prices of vegetables.

The vegetables of summer were put away from my mother’s farm.

She planted new seedlings there.

Therefore I can’t gather a harvest from there now.

And so I went to the direct sales shop in order to buy vegetables after a long time.

First, I wanted to buy a cabbage. However, there wasn’t it there.

But I could buy Chinese cabbages, Chinese vegetables and l a Japanese white radish’s leafage.

After I came back home, I tried the method of saving leafage well that I watched on television the other day.

After they are bought, the roots are soaked in water early.

After about one hour, the vegetables become to be well.

Then they are lightly wrapped in a newspaper. And they are put into the large plastic bag that got in a supermarket, and they are saved in a refrigerator.

They were many quantities if those vegetables were eaten by two persons.

The vegetable compartment of the refrigerator filled.

I felt happy to look at it.

I used Chinese cabbage to make a soup.

It was very good.

今、野菜の値段が高くてあまり手が出ません。

ばあば畑も、夏野菜の片づけをして新しい苗を植えているので

そこからの収穫はできません。

なので、久しぶりに、菜菜市へ野菜を買いに行ってきました。

キャベツが目当てだったのですが、ありませんでした。

でも、白菜・空心菜・大根の葉っぱが安く手に入りました。

私は、家に帰ってから、この間テレビで見た、葉物を上手に保存する方法を試してみました。

買って帰って直ぐに、根を水につけます。

しゃきっとしたら新聞紙で軽くまいてスーパーでもらう大きめのビニール袋に入れて冷蔵庫の野菜室で保存します。

主人と私の二人にしては、たくさんの野菜だったので冷蔵庫の野菜室がいっぱいになりました。少し幸せな気分でした。

その日は、白菜をスープに入れて食べました。

とても美味しかったです。

2011/10/01

It was already October.

I have been busy from the middle of September

I went to a graveyard, and cleaned a grave because of the equinoctial.

I visited to a home for the aged with my mother, and I met my grandmother.

I went to the kimono store for buying the accessories of the kimono which my daughter is probably wear on Coming-of-Age-Day.

Moreover I went to Imabari city where I have never gone by the car.

Everything was fine. 

あっという間に、１０月ですね。

９月中旬ころから、何かと忙しくなりました。

お彼岸なのでお墓掃除を兼ねて、お墓参り。

祖母の顔を見るために、実母と一緒に近くの入居している老人ホームを訪問。

娘が成人式に着る着物の小物を買いに着物屋さんへ行きました。

仕事で、一人で行ったことがない今治市まで車で行ったりもしました。

どれも有意義な時間を過ごせました。

Then 23, I got up at morning. And when I looked at the mirror, I was much surprised that my right cheek swelled and I had a toothache.

Next day I went to the dentist, and saw a dentist.

He said to me, “If you take medicine, and get well nourishment and get well sleep and you don’t do anything. Your cheek will heal early. ” and he said “When your cheek heal, you should come here.”

I came back home. And then I kept taking medicine for three days. Owing to the effectiveness of medicine for three day my cheek was so good.

On 30 I went to the dentist because I made an appointment on the day.

I knew that my tooth which is the front of a wisdom tooth have to be treated by the dentist for the time being.

I was grad to be cleared of a cause.

そのあと、２３日の朝起きて鏡を見て、びっくりしました。右の頬が大きく腫れあがりとっても痛かったのです。

せっかくの祝日なのに、一日中寝込んでいました。

次の日、歯医者さんに行って診てもらったら、薬を飲んで、栄養・睡眠を摂って、肩の凝るようなことをしなければ、早く腫れは治ります。薬で腫れが治まったらもう一度、来てくださいと言われました。

家に帰って薬を3日間飲むと、頬の腫れと痛みは治まりました。

３０日の午後に歯医者さんの予約をとっていたので行ってきました。

親知らずの前の歯の治療が必要と分かり、しばらくは通院することになりました。

でも、治ると分かり、ホッとしたと同時に元気が出てきました。

2011/09/12

Today was the day of the harvest moon.

I was worried that we can’t look at a full moon, because it clouded during the day.

But in the night, it was fine. I could look at a full moon.

There are always my husband and me in the house. I bought rice bolls for the harvest moon, and we ate them with teas.

Then I went out. The moon light was made a thin shadow.

The moon was very beautiful.

今日は、中秋の名月の日です。

昼間に曇ったので、月が見られないかと心配していましたが夜になると丸いお月さんを見る事が出来ました。主人と二人だけなので、お団子は買ってきてお茶をしました。

その後、外に出てみると月明りで薄くて影が出来ていました。

本当に、きれいなお月さまでした。

2011/09/10~11

We gave son’s luggage and daughter’s luggage a lift in our car, and started to go to Shiga after noon.

We can also send son’s luggage.

But we decided to bring them, because there was his dearest guitar in luggage.

My husband will drive round trip.

I decided to go together because he was so anxious alone.

On our departure, he said to me, “Because when it became dark, and I feel drowsy, I want to speak to me. Please sleep in now,”

But I could not sleep.

We were late because of traffic accident.

When it was dark and he seemed to be sleepy, I began to speak him.

But he said to me, “shout out！”

He seemed that driving after dark had worn him out.

I stopped to speak.

But I began to whisper a song which listened in a car so that my voice wouldn’t disturb his driving.

He just asked to me, “What do you say?”

I answered, “I sang in a whisper.”

He said, “I thought I heard a weird voice! I was surprised. If you sing, you should sing a song in big voice.”

What can I do!! I didn’t know that coming here was good or bad.

That night, we stayed son’s apartment.

Next morning, we parted from him at half past 10, because he takes TOEIC examination.

Then we went to my daughter’s apartment. At noon, we met her and eat the lunch and did shopping. After the shopping, we went back her apartment. My husband took a nap about one hour. Then he and I left her apartment at past 5 p.m.

On way back, I didn’t speak, because the sky went dark.

He asked to me, “How are you? Are you tired? Are you all right?”, because he was afraid for my mood.

I answered to him, “yes. I’m All right!”

We were tired each other because of diverse reasons, but we were glad to see my children.

Anyhow my husband was more tired than me because he was driving all way. Many thanks for him!

私達は、お昼過ぎに主人と息子の荷物と娘の少しの荷物を車に乗せて滋賀へと出発しました。

宅急便で送ってもいいのですが、荷物の中に大切にしているギターがあったので私達が持っていくことにしました。主人が往復運転しますが、主人が一人では不安なので私も一緒に行くことにしました。

うちを出発してから、主人が、「今のうちに、寝ておいていいよ。暗くなった頃に僕の方が眠くなるから、その時起きて話しかけて。」と言われました。でも、なかなか眠れませんでした。途中事故車があり、少し時間がかかりました。暗くなってきたので、主人も疲れてきて眠くならないように、私は、彼に話しかけました。そうしたら、「ちょっと、黙っとってくれる。」と言われました。暗くなりトラックも多くなってきて神経を使っていたらしいのです。私は言う通りに黙っていたのですが、車中で聴いていた音楽を口ずさみたくなり小さな声で歌っていました。すると、「なんか言った？」って聞くので私は「小さな声で歌っていたよ。」と言いました。そしたら、「暗い夜道なのになんか変なもの聞いたかと思った。ビックリした。歌うのだったら大きな声で歌って！」って言うのです。もう～！私は、どうすればいいの？！私はついてきた方が良かったのか悪かったのか…。

その日は、息子の下宿に泊まりました。

次の朝は、息子がTOEICの試験に行くので10：30頃に、息子と別れ今度は娘のところへと向かいました。娘のところには、ちょうどお昼についたので、荷物を渡し、お昼を食べてショッピングモールで買い物をしました。その後、主人は娘の下宿で1時間ほど仮眠をとり、17時過ぎに娘の下宿を出て我が家へと帰路につきました。

帰りも、また暗くなってきたので今度は黙っていました。すると、主人が「ねえ、元気？疲れた？大丈夫？」と気を使って聞いてくるので、「大丈夫！」とだけ言っておきました。

私達は、子供たちに会えたのは嬉しかったのですが、行き帰りはお互い大変でした。

と言っても、運転してくれた主人が一番疲れたでしょうね。ご苦労様です。

I was given Torenia seedlings from the woman who was given miso to me last week.

There were a lot of Torenia flowers in her garden.

And it seems the flowers propagate by seed which are falling one after another.

The seedlings which were given were little. But flowers bloomed.

Flowers were like cool.

I hope that the flowers bloom nest year^^

先週、この前お味噌をもらった方からトレニアの苗をもらいました。

その方の庭には、トレニアの花がたくさん咲いていて次から次へ種が落ちては増えて言っているそうです。その増えた分の苗を頂きました。小さな苗でしたが、花が咲きました。とっても涼しげな花です。

来年も花を咲かせてくれますように^^
