Today was the festival day.
From early morning, my husband wore the clothes of the festival, for carrying a portable shrine on our shoulders.
I prepared the salt water and the leaves of sacred bamboo, in order to be exorcised by the Shinto priest.
He left home at 6:00 and went to Shrine.
The portable shrine was shouldered from Shrine to a housing complex by the men of our neighborhoods.
After that, the Shinto priest visited together a portable shrine to each house, and he exorcised.
There were few bearers, because there were not much young men. They took a lot of beaks while they shouldered the portable shrine.
When they took rest breaks, they always drank.
My husband had got drunk considerably.
But he seemed to be happy. And he got a lot of friends for drinking.
Next time, he is going to drink together.
今日は、本祭りです。
早朝から、主人はお神輿を担ぐのに半被を着ていました。
私は、神主さんにお祓いをしてもらうために、器に塩水をいれたものと南天の葉を玄関に用意しました。
主人は、6時に家を出てお宮へ行きました。
みんなでお宮から団地まで、お神輿を担ぎます。
その後は、各家へ神主さんがお神輿と一緒に訪問してお祓いをしてくれます。
あまり若い方がいないので、担ぎ手が少なく休憩もたくさんとってまわりました。
休憩のたびに、お酒がふるまわれるので主人はかなり酔っ払っていました。
でも、とても楽しそうにしていました。また、飲み仲間ができたようでした。
今度一緒に飲みに行くそうです。
